New Delhi: Just hours after assuming office as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister,  Kamal Nath on Monday announced that incentives would be granted to only those industries which are  providing preference to the state's youths in jobs. It is noted that the Congress had been contrasting linking incentives to firms with employment of locals in Maharashtra, but allegedly it is proposing the same scheme in Madhya Pradesh.

Worth mention here Congress president Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a press conference outside Parliament today, stated that he was not aware of any such swear. He further asserted that he will talk about on this issue with the MP Chief Minister after studying the proposal.

However, The BJP targeted the Congress, saying their duplicity stands exposed. Reports suggested that The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) also has questioned the Congress over the proposal while in the meantime, Lok Janshakti Party supporters protested in Patna in opposition to the statement made by Kamalnath with respect to  the people of Bihar and UP.
