New Delhi: The enforcement directorate (ED) action in the money laundering case against the Popular Front of India (PFI), notorious for anti-national activities, has led to shocking revelations. A raid conducted by PFI leaders and officials at four locations in Kerala on Wednesday (December 8) has found concrete evidence of several properties including beer bars and restaurants abroad. Meanwhile, PFI members tried to disrupt the raid but could not succeed due to the presence of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
ED said, the house of PFI member Shafiq Peyth, Divisional President of Perampadappu at Malappuram in PFI BP Abdul Razak, PFI leader MK Ashraf alias Tamar Ashraf at Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam, was raided at Munnar Villa Vista Project complex at Mankulam in Munnar. During this period, the Agency received evidence of several documents, digital equipment, money from abroad and possession of property abroad. ED said documents recovered in the raid show that Munnar Villa is involved in PFI money laundering through various projects in Kerala including vista project. "Cases of PFI leaders acquiring properties abroad, including bars and restaurants in Abu Dhabi, have come to notice," ED said in a statement. It is under investigation. '
