New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar was infuriated during a discussion on the show with an Indian journalist. In fact, during the discussion, Akhtar was questioned on the famous 'Baap Baap Hota Hai' comment, made by former India explosive batsman Virender Sehwag during one of the India-Pakistan matches.
Sehwag had reiterated in several interviews that after Sachin Tendulkar hit Akhtar for a six during an India-Pakistan match, he (Sehwag) said that the Baap Baap Hota Hai. The Indian journalist reminded Akhtar of the same thing, but Akhtar said that it is not so at all and Sehwag would not have survived if he had said so. The journalist asked Akhtar if he all knows that Veeru told you that Baap Baap Hota Hai, Aur Beta Beta. Apart from this, if you remember any other incident, then tell me. To this, Shoaib Akhtar said, 'First of all, if he had spoken this thing on my face, he would not have survived. I don't know when it was said and at what time it was said. I myself once asked Sehwag whether he made any such statement or not?'
Akhtar told that 'Sehwag directly said that he did not give. The second thing is that you do the program. You must talk. There is a huge fan following in India and I always try not to do such a thing, which will increase the distance between the two countries, rather I want it to be less. I don't like it at all.'
