Shoma Anand started heracting career with Bollywood films. The actress made her debut with Rishi Kapoor. After this film, she appeared in important roles in films like 'Jigar', 'Coolie'. After doing a couple of films, when Shoma did not get the role of the lead actress, she started doing supporting roles. She received fame by playing the roles like sister, sister-in-law, wife, mother instead of lead actress. Shoma Anand plays various characters on the big screen.
Shoma was doing good the industry. However her one mistake destroyed her all career. Shoma got married to producer and director Tariq Shah proved to be the biggest mistake of her career.
