According to the police, the daughter of criminal Omkar Gowda had an affair with a boy from another community. When he came to know about this, he warned the daughter. He said that she should end all relations with that boy. But the girl did not agree and did not break the relationship with the boy. This angered Omkar and he planned to kill his daughter. On October 31, he took his daughter to the theatre on the pretext of showing a film. After watching the film, he told his daughter that he would get her shopping done. Then both went to the jewelery shop. Buy jewellery there. Thereafter, both father and daughter started returning home. Then on the way, he stopped the car near the HLC canal. Asked the daughter to come out of the car. The daughter was completely unaware that her father wanted to kill her.
The same daughter also got down from the car without thinking anything. Then the merciless father pushed her into the canal from behind. The daughter kept screaming for help. But the father did not help her and left from there. The girl died due to drowning in the canal. Then he did not go home and fled to Tirupati.
