Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao's film 'Stree 2' has earned a lot of money at the box office. According to Saccanilk, the film collected Rs 25.8 crore on Tuesday, the sixth day of its release. With this, the total net box office collection of the film has become Rs 255.35 crore. Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee have also appeared in this film directed by Amar Kaushik. The audience has praised the brilliant acting and interesting story of the film.
Status of earnings of 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Veda'
Akshay Kumar's film 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Veda' were released on 15 August along with 'Stree 2'. On the first day, 'Khel Khel Mein' collected Rs 5.05 crore, but on the sixth day this figure could reach only Rs 1.2 crore. On the other hand, 'Veda' earned only Rs 80 lakh on this day. In six days, 'Khel Khel Mein' has done a total business of Rs 17.25 crore at the domestic box office, while 'Veda' has earned only Rs 16.3 crore. It is clear from these figures that 'Stree 2' has had a big impact on both these films.
More than one star appeared in the films
Some of the stars in these films have appeared in two films. Tamannaah Bhatia appeared in a cameo role in 'Stree 2' as well as 'Veda'. Akshay Kumar is in the lead role in 'Khel Khel Mein', and has also appeared in a special appearance in 'Stree 2'. Abhishek Banerjee is also a part of both the films 'Stree 2' and 'Veda'.
Akshay Kumar's movies and his condition
'Khel Khel Mein' is heading towards a flop. It was very important for Akshay Kumar to make this film a hit, as many of his previous films have not performed well at the box office. After 'Sooryavanshi' released in 2021, none of Akshay's films have been a hit. So far, seven of his back to back films have flopped. Although 'OMG 2' released in 2023 was a superhit, it was not Akshay's lead role film; he was in a cameo role in it. While 'Stree 2' is performing well at the box office, the earnings of Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Veda' are not meeting expectations.
