Shruti Haasan and her London-based boyfriend Michael Corsale have parted ways.  The couple has made it official on Friday. A friend close to Shruti and Michael told Mumbai Mirror that the decision to break-up was mutual and that they've parted ways on a good note.

It was observed that Shruti even deleted a few photos with Michael from her Instagram page. She recently wrote an indirect note about it earlier this month and now Michael took to his Instagram page and confirmed the breakup. He shared a cute selfie with Shruti and wrote, “Life has just kept us on opposite sides of the globe unfortunately and so we have to walk solo paths it seems. But this young lady will always be my best mate. So grateful to always have her as a friend. Luv ya gal”.

Shruti Haasan had also posted updates with captions reading: "Begin again, a new phase, thankful and blessed for all the love lessons and light. More music more movies and more me. Being with myself has and always will be my greatest love story".  She will soon start shooting for a Tamil film starring Vijay Sethupathi. Several Instagram users interpreted this as a break-up post. "Hopefully your paths will cross again... you guys were good together," wrote a concerned fan while another added: "I request you two to not break-up with each other... You both are my favorite couple in this world."
