Produced by 7Cs Entertainment and Vijay Sethupathi Productions, the film is being directed by SP Jananathan who has given films like ‘Peranmai’ and ‘E’. Besides Shruti Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi, the film also stars Kalaiyarasan in a pivotal role. The shooting of Laabam went on floors with auspicious pooja event today. Before heading to the shoot yesterday, Shruti shared a cool boomerang along with a caption that read, "The eagle has landed- full on work mode begins !!!!!."
