The best time to worship, celebrate, and receive blessings of Goddess Durga. This Navratri, which comes in Ashwin month, is called the Shardiya Navratri. The peculiarity of this Navratri is that we worship Goddess Bhagwati by setting up an urn in the houses as well as in the Pooja Pandals.

Astrologer Diwakar Tripathi, director, Institute of Upliftment Astrology, has said that the Shardiya Navratri is starting on the 17th of October. On the date, the first form of Goddess, Maa Shail Putri is a very important day. Ghat Stapna will take place on this day. It is best to set up an urn or any auspicious work done in the auspicious Muhurat and date. Therefore, it is very important to consider the auspicious Muhurat for Ghat Stapna on this day.

Abhijit Muhurat is considered to be auspicious for starting new things. Abhijit Muhurat starts at 11:36 and ends at 12:24. It is considered bad to do the Ghat Stapna in the Chitra Nakshatra. Thus, Chitra Nakshatra will end after 2:20 pm, after which Ghat Stapna can be done.

Kumbh Nakshatra will start at 2:30 pm to 3:55 pm and will also have a good chowghadia at this time.  So, this time is excellent for Ghat Stapna. Another Muhurat will start at 07:06 to 09:02 pm at night, but in the meantime, Chowghadia is auspicious from 07:30, so Ghat Stapna can be done at 07:08.
