Shardiya Navaratri starts on 17 October. The nine forms of Maa Durga are worshiped for nine days in Navratri. During Navratri, the devotee's goddess fasts for nine days to get the blessings of Maa Durga. According to religious beliefs, if during the Navratri, the devotees chant different mantras on different days according to the nine forms of Maa  Durga, then Goddess fulfills all their wishes.

Pratipada of Navaratri means that the worship of Mata Shailputri takes place on the first day. Mother Shailputri is considered to be the goddess of wealth, luxury, good fortune, and salvation.

The mantra of Mata Shailputri is - ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं शैलपुत्र्यै नम:

Maa Katyayani: Freedom from fear, disease, bereavement, and salvation. Her mantra is - ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं कात्यायनायै नम:

Maa Kalratri: Maa Kalratri removes obstacles, providing happiness and peace. Her mantra is - ॐ ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं कालरात्र्यै नम:
