Kolkata: The ongoing clash over West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's former chief secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay is not coming to an end. Now, Leader of opposition in the Assembly and Nandigram MLA Shubhendu Adhikari has accused Mamata Banerjee of promoting the indiscipline. Mamata has also been accused of misusing the money of state tax payers.

Shubhendu Adhikari tweeted, "Absurd game is going on in West Bengal. For the sake of his arrogance, to ruin India's federal structure and save the Chief Secretary for his indiscipline, (non-MLA) CM Mamata Banerjee is defaming the CM's office and the Constitution of India". The official further wrote, "What is the secret that the former Chief Secretary knows that (non-MLA) CM Mamata Banerjee is doing one day and night to protect him?"

The official said, "I demand strict action against the former Chief Secretary for indiscipline, violation of service rules in times of natural calamity and not helping others due to global epidemics, irregularities and political games". He said, 'The Trinamool Congress has completely failed, and robbing taxpayers' money is a favourite hobby of TMC. The former chief secretary and now (non-MLA) will use 2.5 lakh more facilities per month as "advisor" to CM Mamata Banerjee. These are certainly better ways to spend the hard earned money of tax payers".
