Prayagraj:  A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, where a younger brother beat his elder brother to death with a rod. The police have taken the accused brother into custody and have registered a case of murder against him.

Event Details:

The name of the deceased is Shivam Mishra and he was an LLB student. His younger brother Satyam is an MA student. On Saturday morning, Shivam was sleeping in his room when Satyam hit him on the head with an iron rod. When the family members reached the room after hearing Shivam's screams, they saw that Satyam was continuously attacking Shivam. Shivam's head was bleeding and he was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The police took Satyam into custody and interrogated him.

Statement of the accused:

Satyam told the police that his father loved his elder brother Shivam more. Father wanted Shivam to become a big lawyer and was getting him to do LLB. Satyam felt that if his elder brother became a lawyer, he would send him to jail. Due to this fear he killed his elder brother.

Father's statement:

The deceased's father Sandeep Mishra said that there was never any fight between his two sons. They don't know why Satyam did this. He said that now he has no son and on whom will he survive? The police have registered a case of murder against the accused Satyam and are preparing to send him to jail. This incident is a tragedy for the family and society. This shows that we should make our children aware about mental health and raise them with love and affection.
