On Thursday morning, Sidharth was taken to the Cooper hospital in Mumbai, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. According to a senior doctor from the hospital's forensic department, the initial report indicates that the cause of death was a heart attack. 'We won't be able to confirm the reason of his death until the post mortem is completed,' the doctor explained.

Emotional admirers started quoting Sidharth's previous remark on Twitter. 'No, bhaiya #SiddharthShukla, you're mistaken at this moment. We felt this line, please come back. Death is the biggest loss in life. 'I still can't believe you abandoned us,' one commented. Another said, 'True a part of me died today and it will never be the same.'
