Gangtok: Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang has contributed Rs 25 lakh to Bihar CM Relief Fund. This fund is to cover the loss due to floods in Bihar. Let us tell you that due to floods in Bihar, 43 people have died and millions of people have been affected. Flood-like conditions occurred in the capital Patna due to torrential rains. From the city streets to the houses, there was also rainwater. There has been some relief since the rain stopped, but the water has not been completely cleared yet.

In Patna, due to rain and waterlogging, the outbreak of dengue and diarrhoea has started increasing. 104 cases of dengue have been reported in a single day. Most of the patients are from Kankarbagh, Rajendra Nagar, Kadamkuan, Pataliputra, Bazar Samiti area with waterlogging. Apart from this, diarrhoea patients are also reaching hospitals. This figure of dengue patients is of patients admitted in government and private hospitals.

Only 58 patients with PMCH were found positive for dengue. Talking about private hospitals, 11 dengue cases have been reported in Udayan Hospital, 9 in Ruban Memorial, 18 in Kurji Holy Family Hospital, 3 in Ford Hospital, 2 in Jagdish Memorial, 3 in Rajeshwar Hospital. In such a situation, the Chief Minister of Sikkim has come forward to help the Bihar government.
