Director Venkat Prabhu's 'Maanaadu' is one of the most anticipated films in the career of Silambarasan whose shooting was wrapped up a few months ago. While the dubbing for the film started today in the presence of director Venkat Prabhu and producer Suresh Kamatchi earlier in May, the latest is that actor Silambarasan aka Simbu has begun dubbing for his portion today.
While music director, Yuvan Shankar Raja had revealed that the first single will be out on June 21st, he revealed earlier today that a teaser of the first single titled Meherezylaa will be unveiled today (June 19) at 6 pm.
The film has Kalyani Priyadarshan playing the leading lady with SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaren, Manoj, and others in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music, and the film is bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions. Initially, 'Maanaadu' was all set to release on May 14, on the occasion of Eid, but got pushed due to the coronavirus pandemic situation, but the latest buzz is that the makers are planning to release the film on October 14, for the Ayudha Pooja weekend, if the theatres are opened by then.
