Lucknow: The SIT has taken into custody the victim accused of raping veteran BJP leader and former Union Home Minister Chinmayand. According to reports, the law has taken the student with the SIT for questioning. The girl and three of her accomplices were booked for attempting to recover the color on behalf of Swami Chinmayand.

The High Court had refused to grant immediate relief to the victim for allegedly blackmailing Swami Chinmayand. It may be mentioned that an LLM student from Shahjahanpur district has accused BJP leader and former Union Minister Chinmayand of sexually assaulting several girls.
