Jaipur: A fire broke out in six kiosks in Malviya Nagar Sector 3 late on Wednesday night. Seeing the smoke and flames rise, a kiosk owner living nearby informed the fire station, then firefighters who reached the spot were put under control after about an hour and a half of effort, but until then the 5 kiosks kept the items burning. On Thursday morning, people came to know about the incident of fire in the area, then people sat on a protest in Sector- 3 demanding compensation to the victims kiosk owners and started demonstrating.

After this incident, the police were asked to clear the way, but if people did not move, the light force was used. On this matter, the protesters have alleged that two people have been injured in the police lathi charge. Dharam Chaudhary was admitted to the hospital after suffering a serious head injury. In this incident, MLA Kalicharan Saraf and BJP leader Suman Sharma had also reached the site of the incident on the use of force by the police on the people.
