SAVWIPL started building face shields earlier this month at Chakan and Aurangabad factories, which have been distributed to the people against Covid-19. Now the company has started making ABMU bag ventilators, filtered face masks and intubation boxes for surgeons. The same, the company has already made a prototype of the low cost ABMU bag ventilator. The test of running this ventilator has also been done for 24 hours and now it is being continuously monitored for its performance. After thorough examination of the ventilator prototype in Band, it will be given to the health expert. Along with this, the company has also started making an intubation box which works as an additional shield to help doctors during surgical procedures.

The engineers of SAVWIPL are also customizing the Snorkelling Masks provided by Decathlon to equip them with 3D printed inlets made in the company's plant. Masks and shields can be used during the process in ICU and during consultation in OPD. The face shield can be sanitized for about 6-8 hours before reuse. So far 9 thousand shields have already been transported to health care workers in Pune, Aurangabad and Latur etc. Along with this, the company also announced that it is contributing to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund to fight the deadly coronavirus .
