The ace filmmaker known for films like Devdas, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani also he credited to introduce Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in Saawariya (2007) now is all set to launch his sister Bela Segal’s elder daughter Sharmin Sehgal with a musical love story.

Mangesh, the director of film while talking to a daily said, "Basically it’s a musical love story and the film demanded a young couple and Sharmin will absolutely justify the story. This film will release by this year end. I can’t reveal anything more about this film.” He added, "It’s a mega project and Sanjay is not keeping any stone unturned to make this a splendid launch for Sharmin."

Sharmin is Sanjay's sister Bela Sehgal's daughter and her debut film is supposed to release by the end of 2017.
