New Delhi: Union Minister Smriti Irani said that a lot of development work has been done in Amethi after PM Modi and CM Yogi came to power. All the development works were done by the BJP, for which the people of Amethi have been waiting for a long time. Connecting people emotionally, she said that if you call me 'Didi', then tell me 'Sister loves her family and does not expect anything in return. She works hard for her family and I want to do the same.'

Smriti Irani further said that 'I asked people what should be done for Tiloi. People said that there should be a proper route for Tiloi, so within a year and a half, we made way for it. The second demand was about the powerhouse, so a 132 KV power plant is being set up for this. Attacking the Congress, he said that for the past 30 years, the Congress had shown the dream of a medical college to the people of Amethi, but this dream was fulfilled by PM Modi and CM Yogi, for which I congratulate them.'

Irani further said that during the budget session, when PM Modi was making announcements for the welfare of farmers and the general public, the Congressmen left the Parliament. This is the real face of Congress. She said that farmers of Amethi got the benefit of MSP this year, but this has never happened before.
