Irani in Assam, says 'Congress is most corrupt party, BJP....'

New Delhi: Assembly elections are proposed in five states including West Bengal and Assam in the country. During this time, the war between the political parties is also in full swing. Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday described the Congress as the most corrupt party. Along with this, she has appealed to the people to vote for the BJP to continue taking advantage of the various schemes of the Center and the state.

Addressing his first election rally in Assam on Saturday, the Union Minister further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state's Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal have started many such schemes which are benefiting the people of the state. Irani said that there is no one more corrupt than Congress. The BJP is the only party that works for the welfare of the poor. Irani said that the BJP government has worked tirelessly for the people working in tea gardens across the state.

Smriti Irani, while referring to the schemes of the Central and State Government, said that the Congress Government never worked for the poor people. She also urged people to vote for the BJP in the assembly elections. Union Minister Irani targetted former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was representing Assam in the Rajya Sabha, without naming him. Smriti Irani said that there are some big leaders of Congress from Assam, who became  PM, but AIIMS in Assam came only during the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
