Kolar: PM Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Kolar on the second day of his Karnataka tour. He will also hold public relations rallies in Channapatna and Belur today. After these rallies, Prime Minister Modi will hold a roadshow in Mysore in the evening. Karnataka will go to the polls for the assembly elections on May 10. The results will come on 13 May. Addressing the public meeting, Prime Minister Modi said – The Congress government never cared for the farmers, but the BJP government is working for the farmers from seed to market. The BJP government here adds Rs 4,000 more to the money sent by the central government to the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi. Due to this, 18 thousand crore rupees have reached the bank accounts of lakhs of farmer families of Karnataka. He said that Congress has always been known as the party of 85 per cent commission.
The then PM of Congress had said that only 15 paise out of 1 rupee reaches the beneficiary. This is the approval of their PM and therefore, the Congress government can never develop Karnataka. Prime Minister Modi said in Kolar that today the amount of money sent by the central government of BJP from Delhi reaches 100 percent to every beneficiary. In the last 9 years, with the power of Digital India, we have sent 29 lakh crore rupees directly to the bank accounts of the poor under different schemes. Congress has always done injustice to poor, SC/ST, OBC, women. But today I would like to express my gratitude to the people of Karnataka that their one vote started changing all the situations. You removed injustice against the underprivileged with your one vote.
Taking a dig at the Gandhi family, PM Narendra Modi said that Even today the royal family and their close associates are out on bail in different scams worth crores. If the top Congress leadership is out on bail, you cannot expect them to take action against the corrupt. The Congress is most troubled by my action against corruption. So they started hating me more and started attacking me. They are threatening me, Modi teri kabr khudegi. Now they are comparing me with a snake and have the audacity to ask people for votes. The snake is sitting around the neck of Lord Mahadev. For me the country and the people of Karnataka are like Lord Shankar.
