On Friday, Snapdeal E-commerce firm apologised for using the term 'Good Friday' in a promotional campaign, though the day is observed to commemorate the crucificion of Jesus Christ.
The Snapdeal Spoke person issue a statement which has written "We regret the tagline used. It is an error on our part".
"We extend our sincere apologies to all whose feelings we may have hurt inadvertently. We will work to ensure that something like this never happens again"
Snapdeal had sent promotional e-mails to its customers with a subject line "It's a really really good Friday|Flat 40% Off". However, a section of people was left offended as Good Friday is not a day of celebration.
