Corona breaks 2020 record, infection cases claims 166632 lives in 2 months

New Delhi: The outbreak of corona infection in India has reduced ahista-ahista. Continuous efforts are on from the Centre to the State Governments. Meanwhile, shocking figures have emerged. In fact, half of corona deaths in India since April 2020 have taken place in just two months. The deaths took place in April and May this year, which bear witness to how deadly these two months have been and the impact it has had on the states.

It has occurred in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi, out of the total deaths from Corona in April and May this year. Three states recorded the highest number of deaths during this period. On the other hand, in Delhi, Karnataka and Punjab, about 60 per cent of the infected people have lost their lives in April and May this year. The same news is given in the data shared by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) under the authority of Tahrir.

At the same time, NCDC reported that a total of 329,065 deaths were reported from Corona between April 2020 and May 2021. Out of these, 166,632 persons died in April and May this year. 120770 persons died in May and 45882 in April. Since April last year, the highest number of deaths have been reported in these two months. In addition, 69354 patients died in June, but officials have not reported it in april and may data. The highest number of deaths in a month before April-May was 33035 in September last year followed by 2777 in February 2021.
