New Delhi: The CBI has summoned CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal for questioning in the Delhi liquor scam case. On Sunday, April 16, 2023, he will have questions and answers. The reaction of Kejriwal's mentor, Anna Hazare, has come to the fore regarding the summons sent by the CBI. Social worker Anna has said that if Kejriwal has made a mistake, he should be punished.
In fact, after former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in the liquor scam case, the needle of investigation has now turned towards Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. After the CBI summons, AAP seems to be defending Kejriwal in different ways. At the same time, Anna Hazare, while talking to the media, said that he had already written a letter to Kejriwal. In which he explained why Kejriwal thinks about alcohol. They should think good things.
Anna has also said that doing anything for money is not right. Alcohol never did anyone any good. The CBI is probing it. According to what the CBI would have seen, it should investigate. If someone is found guilty in the investigation, he should be punished. When Anna was asked why the political party that was born out of the anti-corruption movement is today trapped in the clutches of corruption, what did he have to say on this? So Anna said that during the movement, he had told everyone every day to keep their thoughts and conduct pure. Keep life spotless. There should be no stain of evil in life. He said that, and I feel very sad that a person like Sisodia is in jail. Go to jail, but for the betterment of society and the country. Not for your own good.
Let us inform you that the former Deputy CM of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, was arrested on February 26, 2023, in the liquor scam. Since then, he has not been able to get bail. The Rouse Avenue Court is now scheduled to hear his bail plea on April 18. In the last hearing, the ED had described Sisodia as the mastermind of the case.
