New Delhi: A 38-year-old man kept his girlfriend imprisoned for 2 years and raped her daily. Recently, the girl has published a book called Against My Will, in which she has put the traumatic incident with herself before the world. The girl said that she was imprisoned in her own house. Sophie Crockett, 26, hails from Wales, England. Sophie has been suffering from Asperger syndrome. Due to this, the person has problems in social interactions.

Sophie was imprisoned by a man named Matthew Tibble. Sophie wrote that Matthew did not let them eat and drink until he committed the misdemeanor. Sophie is afraid that Matthew can attack her again for revenge. The incident began when Sophie was a 17-year-old teenager. Sophie writes in the book that she was often kept naked and dressed like children. After nearly two years in captivity, Sophie finally managed to escape from prison in July 2012.

A year later, Matthew confessed in court that he had wrongly held Sophie. As part of an agreement to confess the crime, the prosecutor dropped the charges of misdemeanor on Matthew. After this, Matthew was admitted to the psychiatric hospital indefinitely. But after keeping there for only 4 years, he was released in 2018.
