Indore: An incident of love jihad has come to light in Indore city of MP. Criminal Sohail Khan committed the crime of raping the girl by luring her. In this incident, the police have taken into custody the criminal who was booked under love jihad, POCSO Act, rape and kidnapping. This case is of Sanyogitaganj police station area of ​​Indore. On February 17, a girl was admitted for delivery at PC Sethi Hospital here. When the hospital staff asked for the Aadhar card from the girl, she was only 17 years old on it.
Thereafter, the hospital staff gave a complaint to the Child Line and Child Welfare Committee. When the members of the Child Welfare Committee reached the hospital and questioned the girl, the whole truth came out. After this, the chairman of the committee, Pallavi Porwal informed the police. On the complaint of Porwal, the police registered a case against the criminal Sohail under various sections. The committee also counseled the girl.
In the same inquiry, it was found that the girl is a resident of Sajan Nagar area, while Sohail Khan (21) is a resident of Azad Nagar. He had befriended the girl by luring her. Thereafter, on the pretext of marriage, raped her several times in the last year. Due to the same continuous rape, the minor became pregnant. Thereafter, the family members admitted her to the hospital, where she had a pre-maturity delivery and gave birth to a girl child. The minor said that the offender Sohail had married her, after which, she became pregnant. The minor and her child are currently admitted in the hospital. Now the matter is being investigated by the police.
