• Pin it sideways – you can use colourful pins, as it adds sophistication to a basic pony or plait. Just don’t pin it too close to your part.
• Criss-Cross – Take two or three sections on both sides and go criss-cross with your locks for a different take on half up and half down.
• V-Formation – This is a chic pattern that works great on hair of any kind and texture. You can tie your hair in a lose side bun, press the sides of your hair and pin the hair in a “v” formation two at a time.
• Prop-up your pony – you can make your ponytail look high and fluffy with this simple bobby pin. Strategically place the bobby pins underneath the ponytail and let the ponytail fall over.
• Geometric Designs – take two small sections of your hair on each side and bring it back one on top and one down and place the bobby pins in a triangle shape.
• Braid Finish – Finish off your braid or fishtail in an elegant manner without an elastic rubber band. At the end of your braid, tie your hair into a knot, hold the ends together and slide the pin vertically up the middle of the knot. It will secure your look.
