Choreographer Bosco Martis is turning director with a film which was earlier reported to be offered to Kangana Ranaut.

Later it was offered to Parineeti Chopra As per the source, "The actress is also miffed because someone from the team gave out the news that she had signed the film when she had just been narrated the story. Pari wants her film announcements to be made only after she signs on the dotted line. YRF, her talent management company, is mapping her career and making sure that she signs the best films. The only film she’s doing as of now is Meri Pyaari Bindu with Ayushmann Khurrana. The early newsbreak on Circus rattled her as she was still mulling over the script."

And now reports suggest that Sonakshi Sinha is finalised as the leading lady for the film.

Also Bosco stated, "It's an ambitious, intense story with a larger-than-life set-up. I'm looking forward to filming with Sonakshi."

Suniel Shetty will be seen playing her father in Circus. A source said, "While the supporting cast will consist of trained performers, the leads will train with gymnasts and acrobats to work on their stance and balance. There will be extensive action and dance sequences with fire and water acts."
