Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is presently in Punjab shooting for upcoming slice of life movie which marks the directorial debut of Shilpi Dasgupta. Recently, reports have revealed that in the movie Sonakshi will be seen in never seen avatar.

According to the report in Peepingmoon, Dabangg actress will be play the role of a young girl working in a sex clinic in Punjab’s Hoshiarpur in the flick which has been tentatively titled, Khandaani Shafakhaana. The report also stared that Annu Kapoor will play her boss in the film.

Besides, Sonakshi, the movie also features Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Nadira Babbar in supporting roles and will mark rapper Baadshah's Bollywood debut. As per the reports of Hindustan Times, talking about the film, Sonakshi had earlier said, “It’s a wonderful story about a street-smart, independent girl making her way through the many challenges that life throws at her. You can call it a slice-of-life or a coming-of-age film.

 Sonakshi will  also be soon seen sharing the screen space with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in Abhishek Verman's Kalank. The period drama has been produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and also features Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur in vital roles. She will also be collaborating with Salman Khan once again for the third instalment of the hit Dabangg franchise. She will also be starring in Jagan Shakti's Mission Mangal.
