Farmers are demonstrating continuously against agricultural laws. There are many Bollywood and Punjabi industry stars who have come forward in support of the farmers. So far, actress Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta, Swara Bhaskar have joined this list who supported the farmers. Well now a name has been added to this list which is that of Sonam Kapoor and her husband. They have supported this Protest of farmers.
You can see Sonam Kapoor recently shared some pictures of farmers protest. With this, the actress has written a line in the caption of the famous American lair and thinker Danielle Webster. You can see that she has written in the caption, 'When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilization." Daniel Webster #dillichalo ' At the same time, apart from her, her husband Anand Ahuja has also shared the picture of the farmers protest.
Sharing the picture, he wrote in the caption, 'The idea behind “free market” / letting farmers sell directly (not via middlemen) is in itself understandable .. but in striving for a more efficient process we MUST address the fears of the farmers - (1) Is there a mechanism which can provide the safety net that a minimum price guarantee provides? (2) How do we police private enterprises from ‘strong-arming’ farmers into unfavorable scenarios? And what actions - legal or otherwise - can farmers take to report such situations? (3) What are the checks and balances that prevent monopolistic practices and/or corruption from poisoning the system and jeopardizing the livelihoods of the farmers who are the heart of our nation!?... Only once these - amongst various other - concerns are addressed should any changes be implemented."
