A 42-year-old Indian Origin man Rishi Raj Sunak won the race to lead the Conservative Party and is now set to become Britain's first prime minister of Indian origin and its youngest leader in modern times. Rishi is the son of a pharmacist mother and a doctor father who was educated at Winchester and then Oxford. Rishi Sunak is an Indian Origin. As soon as  the  news catches the eyes of people social media flooded with congratulation messages and memes. A photo of Sonam Kapoor and her husband with Rishi Sunak doing rounds on internet. Musician Ayaan Ali Bangash took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture as he congratulated Rishi Sunak for becoming the first Indian-origin prime minister of the UK.

Many Bollywood celebrities have reacted to the news of Rishi becoming the new UK PM, and cheered for him on social media. Many celebrities such as Amitabh Bahchan , Chiranjeevi, expressed their Happiness.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “Bharat mata ki Jai Now the UK finally has a new Viceroy as its Prime Minister from the Mother Country ..” Meanwhile, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi wrote, “Who would have thought when India celebrates 75 years of Independence from the British, the British will get a Prime Minister of Indian origin, a first ever Hindu PM #RishiSunak #LifeComesFullCircle #India".
