Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Sonchiriya got the positive review from the critics but it failed to attract the audience in the cinema halls due to its niche genre and plot. opened to a poor opening at the box-office on Saturday as it collected a meagre Rs 1.50 crore. Abhishek Chaubey directorial’s current collection suggests that in a scenario such as this, the film may not touch double digits even in its lifetime.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Aadrash took to Twitter and wrote,” #SonChiriya won tremendous acclaim, but, unfortunately, it did not convert into footfalls and numbers...
