New Delhi: Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi has asked all the Congress-ruled states to be ready for combating the coronavirus. She has written a letter to all the states in this regard and has asked to maintain health system to deal with the fast-spreading coronavirus across the world. Sonia Gandhi has written to the Chief Ministers of Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Puducherry in the letter to take effective steps and be fully prepared to deal with the situation related to the coronavirus.
It is noteworthy that so far 31 corona infected patients have been identified in India. Sonia said that, 'We are in a state of health-related emergency internationally. Along with the steps being taken around the world, we will have to take effective steps domestically as well. It is the biggest challenge for the states to deal with this situation, so it is necessary that they ensure all preparations related to it in government hospitals. '
She said, 'Effective steps should be taken in this context and preparations should be kept in full. The capacity of public health services should also be increased to deal with any emergency. Sonia said that effective steps should be taken to prevent hoarding and black marketing of equipment related to health care and facilities of intensive medical care should also be increased. She also said that the awareness campaign should also be conducted to stop the propaganda in relation to Corona.
