New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team questioned Congress working president Sonia Gandhi for three days in connection with the money laundering case related to the National Herald case. Sources in the ED have informed the media that during the interrogation, Sonia gave exactly the same answers as Rahul Gandhi. The investigating agency questioned her about the economic transactions related to Associated Journal Limited (AJL) and Young Indian Private Limited.

In response, Sonia told the officials of the investigating agencies, just like Rahul Gandhi, that all the matters related to finances were seen by Motilal Vora. Let me tell you that Motilal Vora passed away in the year 2020. Vora has been the longest-serving treasurer of Congress. When ED officials questioned Rahul Gandhi about the financial aspects, he also told the officials that all the transactions were done by Motilal Vora. Apart from Rahul and Sonia Gandhi, Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Pawan Kumar Bansal had also given the same reply to the investigating agency.

Let us know that the ED had questioned Rahul Gandhi in June. Rahul Gandhi had told the ED that Young Indian is a non-profit company, which was started under the special provision of the Companies Act. According to sources, Rahul had said that not a single penny was withdrawn from it. Sonia Gandhi was questioned by the ED for about eight hours within two days. The ED had questioned Rahul about Young Indian Private Limited. He was also asked whether anyone has got any monetary benefit through this company. The ED had questioned Rahul for about 50 hours within five days.
