New Delhi: Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday addressed the Congress Working Committee (CWC) through video conferencing. In which Sonia Gandhi claimed that the Central Government has taken partial steps to deal with the ongoing Corona crisis in the country. She said that the testing of Corona is still decreasing considerably.

Sonia Gandhi has said that 120 million people have become unemployed in the first phase of lockdown. Sonia accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of spreading the hate virus. In the meeting, former PM Manmohan Singh has said that the success of the lockdown will ultimately be tested by our ability to deal with the coronavirus. Cooperation between the Center and the states is the key to success in our fight against the coronavirus.

Sonia said that immediate relief should be announced for the assistance of micro, small and medium industries (MSME) and farmers. She said, 'Since the CWC meeting held three weeks ago, the corona epidemic has spread so far which is disturbing. Some sections of our society, especially farmers, labourers, migrant workers, construction sector workers and people in the unorganized sector have faced a lot of problems.
