New Delhi: Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi held a meeting of general secretaries, state in-charge and state Congress committee presidents at the party headquarters in Delhi. In the meeting, Sonia Gandhi discussed the Congress message with the leaders from the party's performance to the grassroots level and she also hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Sonia Gandhi said at the party meeting that we have to expose the LIES of the BJP to the people and stressed on maintaining discipline and unity in the All India Congress Committee meeting and said the spirit of empowering the organisation should be above personal ambitions. She further said that the fight to protect democracy and the Constitution begins with activists identifying false propaganda.

Hitting out at the BJP in her meeting, Sonia Gandhi said, "We should fight the BJP/RSS campaign ideologically. To win this battle, we have to do so with conviction and  have to expose their lies to the people.  She said the fight should be intensified for the victims of the government's atrocities.
