Bollywood's well-known actor Sonu Sood became the hero of everyone's life by helping migrant laborers. His statue was installed in Bihar, in many places people have named their children Sonu Sood. In India Today E-Mind Rocks 2020, actor Sonu shared his memories about helping people during the Corona lockdown.
During an interview, when asked about Sonu's memorable story, he told the story of the girls who had been in the headlines earlier. Sonu told about this, "There are many stories that are very close to the heart. I remember that about 166 girls and 10 boys living in one part of Odisha were stranded in Kochi, Kerala." In this regard he further said, "Somehow they contacted me on Twitter and I started the process of getting them out of there. The airports were closed, then I took permission to open it for two hours and these 177 people were allowed on the flight was brought to Bhubaneswar from Kochi. I remember well that I was talking to them at 3 o'clock in the night, cordoning things. " After this, they were placed in the bus so that they could reach the airport. Now they are at their home with their family and then I get their call. They said, 'Sir I have a plumbing and weldink workshop I want to name it as Sonu Sood Welding Shop?' Can i do that I said that you can do exactly this. Today he sent me a photo of his shop. So now I have a welding shop in Odisha. "
Sonu said that these are the stories which are very close to his heart. But there are many such stories which he is writing in his book.
