Popular actor Vijay Sethupathi always remains in discussions due to his films. Vijay Sethupathi tasted his first major success at the box office in 2013 and produced the romantic comedy thriller film directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy with 'Soodhu Kavvum' and C.V. Kumar's Tirukumaran Entertainment. The film with music score by Santosh Narayanan also featured in many great actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, Ashok Selvan, Karunakaran, Ramesh Tilak and Sanchit Shetty.

As per media reports, we had reported long ago that the sequel to 'Soodhu Kavvum' is being planned and now Thirukumaran Entertainment has officially announced that the script is in the final stages and soon after the coronovirus epidemic ends. It will be released later. The sequel to 'Thegadi' starring Ashok Selvan and Janani Iyer and 'Mayawan' featuring Sudeep Kishan and Jackie Shroff was also announced.

On the official Twitter page, a production house survey asked users which sequels they would like to name 'Sudhu Kavum', 'Thegidi' and 'Mayvan' and as a surprise, the trio were already in pre-production Were only revealed. Details of the cast and crew of the three films will be announced soon.
