Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi may have acted in many films but his most talked about time was when he was involved in the suicide case of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan. His name has been in the news since he joined the case. Jiah Khan died on June 3, 2013, at an early age by hanging herself from a fan in her own house in Juhu. At that time, Jiah's family had told actor Sooraj Pancholi about it. Recently, Sooraj Pancholi's case in the Jiah Khan suicide case was transferred to a special CBI court, and the actor himself has responded to it.

Sooraj Pancholi recently said, "I am "a little satisfied" after Jiah Khan's death case went in hands of a special CBI court.' In a recent interview, Sooraj Pancholi said, "The last eight years have been very difficult for him. His image in the film industry was also 'ruined' by the case." At the same time, Sooraj Pancholi also said, "If they are convicted, they should be punished" but if not convicted, they should be acquitted of these charges. On the other hand, Sooraj Pancholi's family is hopeful that the court will now expedite his case.

In a recent interview, Sooraj said, 'I am a little relieved now. Because I used to think from the very beginning that my case should be in the Special CBI Court. It's too late, but now it's arrived. If I am found guilty during the court hearing, I must be punished. But, if I prove innocent, I am entitled to be free from these charges. My image has been very tarnished in the last 8 years. It was a difficult time for me and my family. Because everything in and around the industry holds an impression for me. But, this perception is not what I wanted. At the same time, he added, 'I don't know how I've been alive for the last eight years, but my family has seen me in that difficult time. I have been just trying to get out of all this for so many years. My goal is just to look forward and move on. My family and I hope the CBI court will expedite the case.'
