There has been big news about the famous Bengali actors Soumitra Chatterjee. Her health has improved marginally on the last Sunday and now it is reported that she need not to be put on oxygen. She is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in the city. In this case, a hospital doctor said, "On Saturday, she was given plasma therapy and her CT scan was also done. In addition, the doctor also said, "Her condition on Saturday is improved but the actor is still in ITU. However, Chatterjee is no longer on oxygen support. 

According to sources "A medical board has been constituted to monitor the treatment of 85-year-old actors and the board will decide to give plasma therapy for the second time if required. The actor was sent to the ICU last Friday because she complained of discomfort at that time. Earlier on Tuesday, she was admitted to the hospital for being infected with corona virus.

Later on Saturday, the doctor said, "The sodium level of Soumitra Chatterjee had improved but the potassium level was down. Chatterjee was in a dull, seriously confused position and restless. She did not have a fever.
