The upcoming ODI series on the West Indies tour of South Africa women's team has been postponed due to Coronavirus. The tour was to begin in Jamaica and Trinidad from the end of this month. Apart from this, Cricket West Indies (CWI) and Cricket South Africa (CSA) have also agreed to postpone the series between the Men-A team in June.
The South African women's team was to play a five-match ODI series on the West Indies tour. The series was to take place before the World Cup qualifier to be held in July, but the ICC decided to postpone the World Cup qualifier on Tuesday due to coronavirus.
CWI CEO Johnny Grave said, "Safety of players and coaching staff is of paramount importance at this time for the CWI and CSA. Due to the current Covid-19 travel restrictions on both teams is impossible. This year's men's team with CSA Discussions are continuing on the tour. "
