Prakash Raj, the South Indian actor who has carved a niche for himself in the film industry celebrates his 58th birthday today, March 26, 2023.. 

Born on March 26, 1965, in Bengaluru, Prakash is one of the prominent actors in Indian cinema. He has also donned the hats of a director and producer for several films.
The Actor is the recipient of a range of accolades, including five National Film Awards, 8 Nandi Awards, 8 Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, 5 Filmfare Awards South, 4 SIIMA Awards, 3 CineMAA Awards, and 3 Vijay Awards.

1994 saw Prakash make his screen debut in the Tamil movie "Duet." He even gave his producing firm the moniker Duet Movies as a tribute.

The actor has made a name for himself not only in Bollywood but also in the south Indian film industry. Together with Amithabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Tushar Kapoor, he had acted in the 2004 movie "Khakhee."

Prakash Raj was married to actress Lalitha Kumari in 1994. With whom she has two daughters and a son. They were separated in 2009 due to some reasons. Prakash Raj has also worked hard to make his film career a success. He used to work in theater in the early stages. He used to get 300 rupees per month for stage shows.

Prakash Raj has worked in Kannada, Tamil, Malayali, Marathi, and Hindi movies. He is mostly known for his villainous performances even today. However, Prakash Raj's comedy is also very pleasing to the audience.
