These days various movies called for Boycott including Laal Singh Chaddha, Brahmastra, and Raksha Bandhan. These Boycott trends are not limited to Bollywood but have also reached to south Industry. Speaking about the Boycott trends, The actor said, I’m always of the opinion that content always decides the fate of any movie. I don’t think audiences should be blamed because they won’t boycott a good film. If they like a movie, they’ll make sure it runs well. At the same, audiences have all the right to reject bad content and we have no say in it."
He further gives the example of Dhanush’s movie and said, "I was really happy with the recent success of Thiruchitrambalam because audiences proved that when you give them good content, they’ll celebrate it."
Silambarasan plays the leading lady in 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu', while Neeraj Madhav and Siddique play pivotal roles. The film has music scored by A R Rahman. On the work front, Silambarasan will begin the work for 'Pathu Thala' next, and he will be gaining a few kilos to sport a gangster look for the film.
