Lucknow: The Election Commission has announced the by-election for 11 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. With this, the political movement has increased in the state. The party has fielded Major Ashish Chaturvedi from Lucknow Cantt. The party has given a ticket to Samrat Vikas from Govind Nagar in Kanpur. In 2017, Aparna Yadav was the younger daughter of Samajwadi Party candidate Mulayam Singh Yadav from Lucknow Cantt.

Rita Bahuguna Joshi of BJP got 95402 votes and Aparna Yadav of Samajwadi Party got 61606 votes. The party has fielded Major Ashish Chaturvedi from Lucknow Cantt.
