Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Anurag Bhadauria has been booked for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The police of Hazratganj police station have pasted a notice at his house. A specified time has been given in this notice. This notice has been pasted on Friday (December 9). The last date for appearing on the notice is January 7, 2023.  

According to reports, if Bhadauria does not appear before the police within the stipulated time frame, his property will be attached by acting on the notice. At the same time, Sushila Saroj, mother-in-law of SP leader Anurag Bhadoria, has accused the police of torturing her family. Sushila Saroj has said that the house where the notice has been put up does not belong to Anurag. She further said that the police did not even talk to her before pasting the notice. Sushila Saroj has apologized on behalf of Anurag Bhadoria and has also called herself the daughter of Gorakhpur.

She has said that her house is located just 15 km from Gorakhpur Math. Along with this, Sushila Saroj has also talked about the people of Purvanchal often slipping their tongues. She also leveled allegations that being a member of the SP her son-in-law is getting harassed. In the end, Anurag Bhadoria's mother-in-law said that she will go to court if justice is not given. At the same time, the notice pasted by the UP Police mentions Anurag under sections 153-A, 295-A, 298, 504, and 505(2) of the IPC under FIR number 395/22. This notice has been put on the house in A block of Indira Nagar area of Lucknow. The notice also bears the seal of Chief Judicial Magistrate Lucknow.

The UP Police notice also states that the notices sent earlier were not received by Anurag Bhadauria, due to which this action has been taken as an option. Samajwadi Party leader Anurag Bhadauria has been accused of making derogatory remarks against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his late guru Mahant Avaidyanath during a TV debate. The case was registered on a complaint by a BJP leader.
