New Delhi: Samajwadi Party leader and MP from Rampur Lok Sabha seat, who is imprisoned for the conspiracy to get two birth certificates of son Abdullah, has now expressed his pain. Actually, Azam Khan and his MLA wife and MLA son were transferred from Rampur to Sitapur District Jail and now have to appear in their court. Meanwhile, Azam has said that he is being treated like a terrorist in prison.
Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Azam from Rampur, MLA from Rampur Sadar seat, his wife Tazin Fatima and SP MLA from Swar seat for their son Abdullah till March 2 in a case of Rampur court Orders were sent to jail. Earlier, Azam had spoken to the press saying that "the entire country knows what is happening to them".
According to media reports, Azam, his wife Tazin and son Abdullah surrendered on Wednesday in the court of Additional District Judge-6 (MP, MLA) Dhirendra Kumar, from where the three were sent to jail till March 2. On 24 February, the court rejected the Azam Khan family's anticipatory bail plea and issued a non-bailable warrant, ordering attachment of his property.
