Lucknow: While the population of the entire country is imprisoned in their homes due to lock-down, the SP leader's liquor party is going on. Four people, including Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Shamshad Rizvi, have been arrested by the police in connection with the lockdown violation in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut. A case has also been registered against the four accused for violating Section 144 and lockdown.

The accused include Shamshad Rizvi, Tehsim, Shoaib and Wasim, who live in Lavad village. All these people were found to be drinking alcohol at Wasim's dhaba. There is a lockdown across the country in view of the rising havoc of the Coronavirus. People are being urged to stay indoors and follow social distancing. Despite this, people are not understanding the seriousness of the time and are openly having liquor parties. It is being told that the liquor belonged to the party's SP leader Shamshad Rizvi and it is being told that a girl was also invited to dance in it.
