Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Sambhal, Shafiqur Rahman Barq, has termed Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi's move to describe Prime Minister Narendra Modi as an "incarnation of God" as an attempt to enhance his status. Speaking to the press persons on Thursday, Burq responded to a question on Gulab Devi describing Modi as an incarnation of God.  

During this, SP MP Barq said that he should resign and start worshipping the Prime Minister. He has said this to increase his status. It is noteworthy that state Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi had said in Sambhal on Wednesday (October 26) that PM Modi is an incarnation of God. She had said, Modi Ji is in the form of an avatar. He is of extraordinary talent. No one can compete with him.

The minister had said that, if Modi wants, he can remain the Prime Minister as long as he has his life. On Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's demand to publish pictures of Lakshmi and Ganesh on currency notes, Barq said, "Proposing that god's picture should be printed is a purely political move.''
