Madrid: Atletico Madrid's troubles continued and they have played 1–1 draw against Athletic Bilbao in their football match on Sunday in the resumption of the Spanish season. This is its third consecutive draw in the Spanish League. Diego Simeone's team remains in sixth place and are out of Champions League place.
This match has been played at the empty San Mames Stadium without an audience. Iker Munien scored the goal for Athletic Bilbao. Atletico then equalized with Diego Costa's goal for which it was the 13th league draw and it had won only two in the last nine league matches. The league was restored on Thursday after three months due to the suspension caused by the Coronavirus. Barcelona thrashed Marloka 4–0 on Saturday.
